A Strong Presence in Austria’s Premier Cybersecurity Forum
On June 25 and 26, fragmentiX participated in the ICT Security Conference 2025, hosted at the Messe Dornbirn in Vorarlberg. Organized by the Austrian Armed Forces in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and Cyber Security Austria, the conference brought together over 100 experts and speakers from across Europe to address today’s most pressing issues in cyber and information security.
From national defense to quantum-secure communication, the two-day event highlighted the growing need for digital sovereignty, trusted infrastructure, and cross-sector collaboration. fragmentiX contributed in two key presentations and held in-depth conversations with partners, clients, and cybersecurity professionals.
Day 1: Werner Strasser Presents fragmentiX
Founder and CEO Werner Strasser introduced fragmentiX to a live audience, outlining how quantum-safe storage and Secret Sharing technology help organizations stay in control of their data — even in the age of advanced cyber threats.
His talk emphasized the importance of data sovereignty, geo-redundant cloud setups, and how fragmentiX solutions can help companies meet current and future compliance challenges.
Day 2: QCI-CAT – A Look into Quantum Communication in Austria
On the second day, Dr. Sebastian Ramacher (AIT) and Werner Strasser (fragmentiX) co-presented the QCI-CAT initiative — Austria’s contribution to building a Quantum Communication Infrastructure as part of the European Union’s digital sovereignty strategy.
