Essa arquitetura permite recupera\u00e7\u00e3o eficiente, alta durabilidade e integra\u00e7\u00e3o perfeita com v\u00e1rios aplicativos e servi\u00e7os. Originalmente desenvolvido pela Amazon Web Services (<a href=\"https:\/\/aws.amazon.com\/s3\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/aws.amazon.com\/s3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AWS<\/a>) com seu Simple Storage Service (S3), o protocolo S3 tornou-se um padr\u00e3o de fato, adotado por muitos provedores de nuvem que agora oferecem APIs compat\u00edveis com o S3. Os provedores baseados na UE est\u00e3o sujeitos ao Regulamento Geral de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o de Dados (GDPR), que oferece prote\u00e7\u00f5es robustas de privacidade e salvaguardas legais claras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por outro lado, os provedores dos EUA est\u00e3o sujeitos a leis como a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/criminal\/cloud-act-resources\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ato CLOUD <\/a>e <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/crs-product\/R48592\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/crs-product\/R48592\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FISA 702<\/a>que permite que as autoridades dos EUA acessem os dados, mesmo que estejam armazenados na Europa. A Lei CLOUD permite que as autoridades policiais solicitem dados de provedores de servi\u00e7os com um mandado para investiga\u00e7\u00f5es criminais. A FISA 702 permite a vigil\u00e2ncia sem mandado no exterior e, em 2024, seu escopo foi drasticamente expandido com a amplia\u00e7\u00e3o da defini\u00e7\u00e3o de \"Provedores de Servi\u00e7os de Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o Eletr\u00f4nica\" (ECSPs) para incluir praticamente qualquer entidade com acesso \u00e0 infraestrutura de comunica\u00e7\u00f5es digitais.
